A stay at the Imperial is like stepping back in time to another era. It is a marvelous experience. The hotel itself is a beautiful art deco building that is more like a private club than a hotel. The furnishings and stunning artworks are enough to keep you entertained just walking the corridors and exploring the various public spaces, bars, and restaurants. The staff are as attentive, helpful, and welcoming as any hotel I have stayed in, anywhere in the world. This is a great hotel.

Altogether brilliant. Sad to leave. Okay, if I tell you that I liked everything that doesn't really help you. So where shall I start? Check-in was a breeze. The room was spacious and very comfortable with perfect air conditioning and a wonderful shower! Nice desk to work from and very fast charging points for our mobile phones. Breakfast? Oh wow... there was a selection of everything. Continental, fruit, toast, pain au chocolate, pancakes, waffles, muesli and last and most the omlette... The spicy omelet with green chili in it was to die for. The pool (Olympic sized?! Not quite, but you get my drift) with the hot tub was an amazing way to relax. Absolutely lovely. The staff? Perfect. All of them. Exceptional. Very attentive but not intrusive and ALWAYS courteous and polite. Thank you. They even booked a guide for us in Agra to go round the Taj Mahal... and when I had to extend my stay there was no problem whatsoever. I really can't think of anything that I did not like. I mean... even every light bulb in the room worked. So, I don't feel I can fault anything.

Wonderful luxury hotel in the centre of Delhi. You feel the history when you walk around this building, and the role it played in forming current day India (worth looking up the role of Patiala peg bar, to learn more about this). The beautiful detail of the lithographs of scenes from the 1700s and 1800s, on the long corridor on the first floor must be viewed. Staff are very pleasant and always willing to help. The breakfast buffet in 1911 was delicious with a great variety of eastern and western items. Our rooms were excellent and overall, it was a delightful stay. The main pool was being renovated whilst we were here, so we used the reflection pool, which was also nice (but petite). Thanks to Prabhneet and her team for looking after us. Would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful palace for a luxury and relaxing stay. Beautiful hotel for a luxury stays. Everything is perfect, neat, and distinguished: from the absolutely impeccable cleanliness of the room to the tasty food from breakfast to dinner. The bedding is very comfortable. Tea-time perfect too! Exceptional pool and spa. The staff is attentive, cordial, and helpful. Probably the best hotel I've stayed in.

Rooms are decent and spacious and full of outside light. We liked the spa mostly more professional and experts. Food is excellent and main thing they are treating, and care is very good. Yesterday went for our official night dinner. Nice ambience. Staffs are good. Hindi and English talking staffs there. Good understanding. Foods good quality. I am from Bangalore. But after gone recommends other to go and dine.

In New Delhi, a good number of hotels are available but my experience with The Imperial New Delhi Hotel was somewhat special. I had to stay at the hotel for two days as I went there for a pleasure trip with my family. Staff is very courteous, helpful, with smile on face always and this is undoubtedly the most important part of any hospitality service. Rooms are specious with all the amenities. I also loved the food and drinks of that hotel. They had the best dishes. I liked staying at the hotel because of the exceptional quality and entertainment facilities. The hotel gave me the best experience ever. I just can’t stop praising this hotel and service they had offered during our stay. Seriously the best hotel ever. It's just not a hotel it's an experience. The whole history in front of u in the form of beautiful paintings and food is top notch. Service is really elegant. Imperial always lives up to its name and it always will be.

We had a superb stay at this wonderful, historic hotel. There are excellent, friendly, and professional staff everywhere, at all times, but I would like to single out Concierge Sahil, Housekeeping team Jitender & Kanta, and Vinod, the Assistant Manager in Airport Services who did over and above to guide us through our Domestic departure that had a few problems when we changed our booking. He really did go the extra mile when we were pretty stressed out at the Airport. So many of the staff have worked at the Imperial for many years, which I think speaks volumes about the place. Thank you EVERYONE!

I stayed briefly in 1974 when I was a young 20-year-old Hippie travelling overland. Beautiful 1930s palatial elegance and compared to the guest houses I’d been frequenting it was heaven! It was the first fresh air I’d experienced in two months (albeit via the welcome air conditioning) and the tea and food was excellent. Luxurious outdoor pool was also a joy. I can only imagine that things have got even better in the last 49 years! I’m 69 now and if I ever revisit Delhi I will stay at The Imperial.

This place is worth the price. One of the best places to stay at while I’m in Delhi. I enjoyed my stay here last month while I was in Delhi for a week. The staff is absolutely fantastic, and the hotel location is smack in the centre of Delhi. Despite that, the hotel manages to make this one of the best places to stay at. The one star missing above is due to an unexpected interaction with one of the serving staff at the restaurant. He didn’t seem up to standard of the rest of the hotel. Everything else was terrific!

Thoroughly enjoyed my three days in Delhi, in large parts thanks to the atmosphere and service at The Imperial. Great location, beautiful hotel. Not exuberant in your face, more understated sophisticated elegance. First thing when you enter - smell of flowers. Very well-equipped Gym (Technogym) und lovely Spa. Even Squash court. Great pool. Plentiful breakfast, continental as well as Indian food. The bar is well stocked and although small, has skilled barkeepers and good cocktails. Always fresh fruit in the room. Most outstanding, however, were the staff members. Everyone - from reception to room service to waiters - exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional. You felt truly welcomed and there is nothing they couldn’t arrange, fix, or organize. Just a generally “good vibe” among all staff it seemed. Yes, there are hotels with bigger rooms, more modern tech, bigger TVs, better coffee machines and plusher sofas. But they sometimes lack Charme. In any event: to my surprise this has been one of my favourite luxury hotels ever.
