The Royal Ballroom- Straight out of India’s fascinating history, the Royal Ballroom opens up its Victorian charm with shiny marble staircases at the entrance and at departure. Situated on the first floor of the hotel, the famed hall boasts a 21 feet high ceiling, opulent chandeliers and elegant pre-function areas. The ballroom is 4386 sq ft. and has an unrivalled balcony overlooking the stunning Imperial Lawn. The stylish terrace with gleaming granite not only adds to the opulence of this historic venue but also provides room for multiple dining selections, especially for more significant events. It is a perfect location where one can have pre-supper conversations, in the nippy winter months. Adding to this visual delight is a magnificent oil painting of the “Darbar of Malerkotla”, ornamenting one of the ballroom walls, in a larger-than-life display. This is where the sense of history is most palpable and raises its bar. The venue is ideal for sit- down dinners, corporate and state affairs, exclusive fashion shows, bespoke luxury launches and private & social gatherings. The main actors of the Independence movement met here to make epic decisions still relevant to the current times.
